This is a plan for the design and construction of 'byres' (cowsheds for Ayrshire cattle) created in 1953. It contains 47 cross-section sketches complete with dimensions and annotations. The plans were created for Niels M. Plum, the director of the Danish National Institute of Building Research.

The item is a soft-bound copy of the calendar of the North of Scotland College of Agriculture for the academic year 1912-13. The information within includes specimen entrance exam papers, course information, staff lists and work carried out by county extension departments. Also contains a number of black and white group photographs of classes and staff at events.
