This is a plan for the design and construction of 'byres' (cowsheds for Ayrshire cattle) created in 1953. It contains 47 cross-section sketches complete with dimensions and annotations. The plans were created for Niels M. Plum, the director of the Danish National Institute of Building Research.

The collection consists of minutes, reports, financial records, maps and plans, College publications, programmes of events, photographs, slides and press cuttings relating to Scotland's Rural College.
